The law firm of L.A. Baumann and Associates is renamed Baumann, Kondas and Xu LLC. The firm has expanded to include Mark E. Kondas and Nelson J. Xu as partners.

Kondas joined the firm in 2003 and has 27 years of legal experience specializing in litigation at the immigration court. Previously, he was an assistant U.S. attorney for 12 years and had been an assistant attorney general of Guam. He also worked as a prosecutor for Cuyahoga County in Ohio. He has a bachelor’s in history from Notre Dame University and earned his juris doctorate from Cleveland State University Law School.

Xu joined the firm in 2005 and specializes in business and family immigration. He has nine years of experience in civil litigation and general business law. Xu obtained a bacheloes from Fudan University in Shanghai, China; a master’s from Pennsylvania State University; a doc- torate from the University of Illinois and a juris doctorate from Hamlin University Law School in St. Paul, Minn.

Senior partner and founder Ladd A. Baumann continues as manager of the firm which also includes associate Paul A. Lawlor.
